Prof. Tsutomu Kambe, which is one member of IUTAM Bureau, was invited to visit Beijing by Prof. Jiachun Li (President of CSTAM) for 22-24, May, 2007.
And CSTAM had held a meeting about the establishment of International Center of Mechanics in Beijing in the Beijing Friendship Hotel. Prof. Zhemin Zheng (Member of IUTAM Bureau), Prof. Jiachun Li (President of CSTAM), Jianxiang Wang (Secretary-General) and Yazheng Yang (Vice Secretary-General) attended the meeting and communicated with Prof. Kambe on the Center. Prof. Cambe showed that he will support CSTAM for the establishment the Beijing Center.
